Accessories galore

In this blog about making one's own (men's) clothes, I so far have focussed upon the outfits as such and upon some techniques involved in asssmbling these, taking care this blog does not become a tutorial.

It's about the fun of making clothes, isn't it?

One rather important factor in ensuring your fun is having a nice quantity of accessories....

....like a variety of buttons.......
(and boxes to store them, like I have a disorderly quantity of 
these transparant boxes, the supermarket uses to pack small tomataoes) 

.....yarn in many colours .....
(and more of these transparant boxes).

....more yarn.....
(this part of the collection being a bit bluish)

....and other items like pin cushions,  tape-lines, bobbins for the sewing machine,,,,
(not stored in plastic boxes, just a mess on the desk)

.....other boxes with drawers to store too many too small items ....

(and a few interested parties who watch what you are doing, without loudly commenting)

(a sewing box from earlier years, kind of a family heritage)

Yes indeed, accessories and transparant plastic boxes, they say you will never have enough of these.......
